We created this slideshow to help parents who have kids who love horses. Slideshows are a good way to do a pleasurable visual activity as part of Sensory Enrichment Therapy.
We recommend pairing this slideshow with a pleasurable and relaxing tactile or olfactory activity.
When you watch this, take a minute to go find something that smells really nice.
It can be anything you like:
- Soap,
- Shampoo,
- Freshly made bread (my personal favourite today… Rachel just made some bread… Yum!!),
- Herbs from your spice collection,
- Strawberry jam,
- A flower in the neighbour’s yard,
- A new book,or even…
- an essential oil. ;-)
You can use anything so long as you love it.
Now that you have the smell ready, if you want to do even better, get a back scratcher or ask someone to give you a nice back tickle.

Is there any way to hear the music with the train video? It did not work for me either here or in the parents’ course page with the videos. The video runs but there is no sound, even though the other videos have sound. Thanks for any tips! :)

Thank you for the suggestion! But I also cannot hear the sound on Vimeo for that video, even though I can hear the other videos fine :(

Hi Claire. There was a glitch on the site. I think we fixed it. Let me know if it works better for you now. You should be able to watch it from there.
Just love the music on all the slideshows, I really enjoy the longer ones.
